Welcome to Strathkelvin Dog Training Club
The club was started in 1985 by some dog enthusiasts interested in dog training. Our club has never been big with hundreds of members but it has always been a happy club. There are a few members that have been with the club for many years. They came to get their dogs trained, enjoyed themselves and stayed on to take part in the many activities both in and out of the club.
The club is held in the Queenzieburn Community Centre Mill Road Queenzieburn on a Thursday night from January - May & August - December we have 4 courses each year
As a Kennel Club Registered club we run a Competitive Open Obedience Show every April with competitors coming from all parts of the UK
We are involved with road safety and have road safety tests. There are also fun days run by Area One Clubs, and we are involved with the Kennel Club's Good Citizen Tests.
We run a 9-week training course and training night There is a lot of fun and laughter at our club and we hope this will continue for as long as the club continues.
